On the end of the box it states the barrel is 6 1/2". The gun is 5
1/2" The individual I got the gun from said it was bought new in
1966 and this is the box it came in - so you be the judge.

With fittend 22mag cylinder.

Serial # is intentionally blacked out - we do not show serial #s.
The gun is listed on the sales slip as Ruger SS Convert - I would guess
the 'convert' refers to the fitted 22 mag xtra cylnder.
Notice he price in 1966 - $64.

In the box was the 'Fitted Extra Cylinder for Single-Six' - it is a
22mag. There is not a mark on the cylinder indicating 22mag so I put a
22lr in it and the cartridge is very loose. A 22mag cargridge fits
perfect. The cyliner in the gun will only take the 22lr cartridge.

Marks on the gun - the front sight blueing is thining. There is some wear on the left side of the barrel at the muzzle.

There is a slight ring on the 22lr cylinder. And a bruch mark on the hammer. See pics.

It appears that the shooter did wear a ring on his shooting hand as the underside of the trigger guard has some minor marks.

The grips on both sides do have some blemishes - with the right side have a few more than the left.

Some errosion in the 22lr cylinder chambers. Minimal in the magnum cylinder chambers.

It appears to have been shot and very well taken care of.

Serial # is 193XXX range - which puts it about 1962-1963 time frame. according to the Ruger web site.

This gun has not been back to Ruger for the transfer bar safety recall.

Bore is bright and shinny.

Minor nick about the 2 o'clock position of the barrel.
